Mentoring Programs

SECY’s Boys to Men and Girls to Ladies Clubs play a vital role in the Character Development program.  The clubs are rooted in prevention training, community service, and academic achievement.  In 2007 they created a peer tutoring program and the Clothing and Books Giveaway for underprivileged and homeless families in the community.  Other activities include arts and crafts, games, motivational speakers, and field trips to promote positive interaction between younger and older children, where youth share and teach new learning experiences with each other.
